1 soaked cedar plank
¼ c. brown sugar
2 T. soy sauce
2 cloves garlic
½ t. sesame oil
1 ¼ lbs. salmon fillet
1 T. olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Soak plank a minimum of 10 minutes completely submerged. Heat grill to medium.

In small bowl, stir together brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil. Reserve 2 T. Sauce for serving.

Place salmon on plank, skin-side down, and brush with half of remaining sauce. Transfer plank to grill and close lid. Grill 10 minutes. If plank flares up, mist with water.

Uncover grill; baste salmon with remaining sauce. Cover grill and continue to cook 15 minutes ( or until temp 130º).

To serve: slide spatula between fillet and skin.
