3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. mild molasses
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar and blend in molasses, peanut butter and egg. Sift together dry ingredients and stir into molasses mixture. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased bake sheet and bake at 375º for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen.
