1½ cups sugar
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 ½ cups mashed bananas (about 3 large)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Browned Butter Frosting
1/4 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 T. milk

Directions:

Heat oven to 375º F. Grease and flour jelly roll pan, 15½x10x1 inch. Cream butter and sugar, then add sour cream and eggs, blending well. Beat in bananas and vanilla, then add dry ingredients, blending well. Stir in nuts. Spread batter in pan. Bake until brown about 20-25 minutes. Cool; frost with frosting.

Browned Butter Frosting
Heat butter over medium heat until melted and turned to delicate brown. Remove from heat. Mix in powdered sugar, vanilla and milk until smooth. Spread over cooled cake.

May decorate with more chopped pecans if desired.
