4 large thin sliced potatoes (about 2 lbs)
4 cups cheese, shredded
1 onion, minced
Leftover ham, chopped (opt.)
1/4 cup butter
Salt and pepper
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1 cup sour cream(optional)

Directions:
Directions:
In a buttered 9 x 13" casserole dish, layer potatoes, then onion, cheese, ham and salt and pepper. Dot with butter. Repeat 2 more times. Place a final layer of potatoes on top. Mix milk, eggs, salt, pepper, and sour cream together. Pour evenly over top. Top with more shredded cheese. Cover pan. Bake at 350º for 1-2 hours. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
