1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
3 T cocoa
1/2 c butter
1/2 c milk
1/2 c peanut butter
2 c quick oats
1 tea vanilla
In large saucepan heat to a full boil the sugars, cocoa, butter and milk. Boil one minute. Remove from heat and working fast stir in peanut butter till melted, then all oats and vanilla. Put tablespoonful on waxed paper. Let harden. Store in airtight container.

This is a grandson's favorite, he asks for them regularly. He has helped me make these for years. This is a traditional recipe except for the brown sugar. We like them better with this addition.
