8-10 Pound Fully Cooked Bone In Shank Ham
1/2 Cup of Water
1/2 cup unsalted butter, reduce fat or full fat
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
4 cloves garlic, smashed

1. Turn the ham on its side, and without cutting the ham off the bone, ring slice the ham into 1/4 inch slices.
2. Place the ham (bone end up) in a glass baking dish. Add the water and cover the ham with aluminum foil. Bake at 325 degrees for an hour.
3. In a medium sauce pan melt the butter and heat until it is golden brown.
4. Add all of the remaining ingredients (except the garlic) and whisk until it is the consistency of honey.
5. Heat for a few minutes but remove the glaze before it boils. Add the garlic and heat for another minute. Set aside and let cool.
6. After an hour remove the ham from the oven and turn it on its side. Use half of the glaze to baste each of the slices and then turn the ham back upright and baste the outside.
7. Raise the oven temperature to 400 degrees and return the ham to the oven uncovered for 30 more minutes.
8. After 30 minutes remove the ham a second time and reglaze each slice and the outside of the hame with the remaining glaze. Return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes.
9. Remove the ham from the oven, cover it with aluminum foil and let it stand for 10 minutes.
10. Cut down along the bone to remove ring slices and serve.
