1 pound large shrimp, peeled, deveined and tails on (or more to taste)

2 Tablespoons olive oil

4 Tablespoons butter

6 large cloves garlic, minced

1/2 to 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Ground pepper to taste

Pinch of Salt

Juice of 2 lemons

3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

3 teaspoons lemon zest (or zest from 1 lemon) (OPTIONAL)

Can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper for more of a kick

Directions:
1. Cook the shrimp - Heat the olive oil and 2 T butter to a large skillet, over medium high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink. Flip over and cook another 2 minutes.

2. Add Garlic: Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for about 30 seconds or until aromatic. Do not burn.

3. Finish the Shrimp: Stir in the remaining butter, lemon juice, and parsley. Turn off the heat and serve immediately.

Serve over rice - it's delicious!
