1/4 c. dried turmeric or 1/3 lb. fresh (peel the skin and chop - add to blender)
1 T. dried ginger (3" fresh)
1/2 c. water
3 T. coconut oil
2 T. honey or maple syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. black pepper
1 pinch of salt (more if using fresh)

Directions:

Bring to boil, then simmer, stirring often 3-5 minutes. Let it slightly thicken. Store in fridge 2-3 weeks.

Mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric golden paste with 1 ¼ cups of milk. In terms of milk, I prefer either unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk or a combination of both.
