1½ lbs. Sirloin steak, sliced ½ inch thick
3 T. butter
1 medium white onion, sliced thin
8 oz. mushrooms, sliced (2 cups)
1 cup beef broth
½ cup white wine
¼ tsp. white pepper
¼ tsp. nutmeg
⅛ tsp. basil
¼ tsp. salt
2 T. cold water
1 T. dry mustard
2 T. Corn starch
1½ cups sour cream
8 oz. wide egg noodles

In 12 inch skillet, on medium heat, saute steak, onions and mushrooms in butter about 6 minutes. Add broth, wine and seasonings to meat mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook until meat is tender. Mix water, dry mustard and corn starch until smooth and stir into meat mixture and cook until slightly thickened. Add cooked noodles and stir until heated through. Turn off heat and add sour cream and stir until mixed well.
Serves 6 to 8.
