4 large baking potatoes
⅔ cup butter
⅔ cup flour
6 cups milk
4 green onions, chopped
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 ounces sour cream
12 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Bake potatoes for 1 hour, or until done. Cool, and scoop out pulp; discard peels.

Melt butter in heavy pan over low heat; add flour, stirring constantly to make a smooth paste. Gradually add milk and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick and bubbly.

Add potato pulp, salt and pepper to taste, green onions, crumbled bacon and cheese. Cook until thoroughly heated. Stir in sour cream. Garnish with additional bacon or cheese if desired.
