2 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
2 c. boiling water
3 c. sugar
1 heaping cup Crisco
4 eggs
5 c. flour
5 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. Kellogs All Bran
1 qt. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 100% Bran and boiling water. Let cool. Cream shortening, sugar & eggs. Sift flour, soda, salt together and mix with the All Bran. Add all this mixture together with buttermilk. Fold the 100% bran mixture in last. May add raisins or dates if you like. Bake in muffin tins about 10 - 15 minutes at 350º. This mix will keep in refrigerator for 2-3 weeks. It makes a large amount so you can just cook a few muffins at the time and refrigerate the rest.
