4 thick bone in pork chops
¼ cup of minced garlic
4 tbsp. olive oil
1 stick of butter
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
6 tbsp. brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
fresh chopped parsley

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400º. Season the chops with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a cast iron skillet on medium high heat. Sear the pork chops for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and sit aside.
In the same skillet, reduce to low heat, melt the butter, add garlic, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, and whisk until combined. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add the pork chops back into the pan and coat with the sauce.
Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 8-19 minutes or until the port chops reach a temperature of 145F.
Remove the pork chops and let rest for 5 minutes. Garish with the fresh parsley.
