2 parts bourbon (2 ounces)
1 part sweet vermouth (1 ounce)

Place ice in a cocktail shaker. Add the whiskey and vermouth. Shake well. Strain the drink into the martini glass. Add 2 Maraschino Cherries from the gallon-sized jar that sits on the counter.
Take a sip (or two!) to make sure it tastes right and keep it from spilling as you take it into the living room for Grandpa.

Makes 1 1/2 servings or one big one!
