4 boneless chicken breasts cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
2 eggs whisked
6 tbsp flour
3 tbsp corn starch
4 tbsp vegetable oil
3-4 cups cooked white rice - for serving
sesame seeds - for garnish
green onions chopped - for garnish optional

For the sauce (this is how much sauce I made and it worked out great)
9 tbsp honey
6 tbsp ketchup
4 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp white vinegar
4 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp toasted sesame oil

Directions:
For the sauce:
Whisk together the honey, ketchup, sugar, brown sugar, white vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and garlic powder together and set aside.

Chicken preparation
Place beaten egg, 3 tbsp corn starch, and flour into 3 separate bowls.

Dip the chicken pieces in the egg mixture, the flour to coat, and lastly in the corn starch again to coat the chicken.

Heat the oil over medium heat in a large pan or skillet. Add chicken and cook, stirring throughout the ensure even cooking for about 5 - 10 minutes. Then transfer the cooked chicken into a paper towel-lined dish.

Remove any excess oil from the pan and then add the sauce and bring that to a boil over medium heat.

Whisk together the corn starch and water till dissolved, then whisk the corn starch slurry into the boiling sauce until thickened.

Reduce the heat to medium-low, add the chicken back into the pan and toss to coat the chicken completely.

Garnish with the sesame seeds and green onions.

Serve over rice.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a great recipe as I did make it but I made more sauce than what the recipe called for. I did 1 1/2 cups, for example, when it called for 1 cup. My measurements are stated above and it makes a sufficient amount of sauce. Yes, it was WIFE-approved.
