Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
2 cups chopped of very coarsely grated apples
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking SODA (not baking powder)
1 teaspoon cinnamon at least
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup oil
1 egg slightly beaten
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins (makes it even better)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together, and bake in 9x9 inch baking dish at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Serve warm with whipping cream, or not.
Makes great muffins too.
