1 1/4 c. warm milk
1 egg, beaten
2 T. softened butter or margarine
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 teas. salt
3 3/4 c. bread flour
1 1/4 teas. active dry yeast
1 T melted butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, then knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic. Place dough in a well oiled bowl and cover with a cloth. Let dough rise until double, about 45 minutes.

Shape into smooth balls and place on greased baking sheet. Flatten slightly and brush with melted butter. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

Bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

You can use a bread machine if you have one. Just follow the directions for making dough.
