1/2 c. goose grease
1 Tbsp. turpentine
Mix well

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the ingredients thoroughly, heat and rub on to the throat, chest and back.
Cover the greased areas with a heated piece of woolen underwear or part of an old woolen blanket.
Wrap with a towel to keep the heat in.

If goose grease was not available, lard was substituted.


This recipe is NOT for swallowing.
