For the biscuits:

2 cups flour
1 TBL baking powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup oil or butter
2/3 cup milk (or 1/4 powdered milk plus enough water to make 2/3 liquid)
1/3 cup raisons

ICING:

3/4 to 1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 TBL milk
1 tsp vanilla

Place raisons in a bowl with warm water, and allow them to plump up while preparing the dough. Mix all dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients, being careful not to over-mix the dough. Squeeze the raisons dry and add them to the dough. Pat out dough and cut into rounds. Bake at 450 degrees for about 10 to 15 minutes. or until lightly golden.

Next, mix icing ingredients. Drizzle over the biscuits. Makes approx. 10 to 12 biscuits.
