2 Tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

3 lbs. Roasting chicken

Directions:
Directions:
Heat the oven to 400F.

Melt the butter, mince the garlic. combine butter, garlic, salt, paprika, basil, thyme and cayenne. brush the chicken with mixture.

Roast until done 1 hour 15 min. Tent with foil if the chicken starts to brown too much.

let stand for 15 min before carving . serve with pan juices.
