1 lb. Carrots, chopped
5 Tbsp. butter
1//2 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a skillet, add carrots. Stir to coat and cook on medium-low heat, uncovered, for 40-45 minutes, stirring every 5-7 minutes until carrots are soft and starting to caramelize. Béee careful not to burn.

Add water and salt. Cover and cook 15 minutes. Remove from heat and purée in food processor until smooth.
