4 lbs lean pork spare ribs
1 large onion (chopped)
1 to 2 tsp dry mustard
3 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice
salt to taste
1 c tomato ketchup
1/2 c celery (chopped)
6 tbsp sugar
1/2 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut ribs into individual portions and place in a roasting pan. Mix all other ingredients and pour over ribs. Bake in a moderate oven (300ºF) turning and basting constantly. Add small amounts of water as needed. Remove and cover for last hour to brown. These must be done slowly. About 2 1/2 hours to be very well done.
