4 cups chopped rhubarb
1 1/4 cups Flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup strawberry jam (optional)
1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl combine rhubarb and 1/4 cup of the flour and white sugar. stir in jam and set aside. In separate bowl combine remaining flour, margarine, rolled oats and spices . stir in brown sugar and pecans. Press 1/3 of the mixture in an 8" (2 liter) baking dish preferably glass. Spoon rhubarb mixture over top, cover evenly will remaining mixture.

Bake at 375F for 30min turn to 350F for 15 more min or until a nice golden brown and filling is tender.

Delicious with Ice Cream !

This recipe was given to me by Grandma (Mary) Boulis. the lady that lived down the street from us as kids.(white house next door to Doris Sunday) a very good cook and kind lady that sold us farm eggs and took care of us on occasion.. she had lots of cats and I remember her feeding them the chicken livers.
