1 stick of butter
1 lemon (juice and several slices of zest)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp dry or prepared mustard

Worcestshire, cayenne or black pepper, Tabasco, salt,
sugar to taste

In a saucepan over low heat: melt butter, add vinegar, lemon juice, zest, water, catsup and mustard. Season to taste and heat through.
This will last if kept in the refigerator.

This is best on barbecued pork, but good on chicken, too. May be added immediately before taking meat off grill, but sugar will burn if used as a basting sauce.
