1lb. Favorite Pasta Cooked aldente
¼ lb Butter
½ cup flour
1 quart Whole Milk
2 ½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
1 lb. Tarentaise Cheese grated

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter in a large sauce pan on medium heat. Add flour and stir constantly to combine. Let this cook about 10 minutes stirring frequently until it becomes a light nut tan color and smells like peanut butter.

Slowly add milk stirring constantly to completely combine, cooking over medium heat until sauce thickens (7-10 minutes). Add salt, pepper, nutmeg and ½ of the cheese. Cook addition 1 minute.

Mix sauce with pasta.

Grease a 9x11 dish with butter. Lay in ½ of the pasta. Cover this with ½ of the remaining cheese, the rest of the pasta and then top with the remaining
Tarentaise Cheese.

Bake at 350 uncovered for 20- 30 minutes or until heated thru and bubbling around the edges.

If made the day before and refrigerated, bake for an additional 30 minutes starting at 325 degrees.

We get Terentaise cheese given to us every year by Brett's work and make this scrumptious Mac n Cheese. It's the only thing I know to do with it... 😅
