I have this recipe in Granny's handwriting, but she didn't indicate how long to cook this. I assume it should be cooked until golden brown.

This was a recipe that was in the kitchen of my Granny, Agnes Cordelia Kelly, who was my dad's mother. She was famous for her amazing homemade fried chicken and her sweet (REALLY sweet) iced tea.
