1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp garlic - minced
2 tbsp butter
8 oz dry linguine noodles
2 cups chicken stock
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup milk or cream
1/2 cup parmesan cheese - shredded fresh
1 tbsp chopped parsley - optional

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet or stock pot heat oil and add garlic. Cook until garlic is fragrant. Add the pasta, salt, pepper, butter, chicken stock and milk.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 20 minutes until pasta is tender. Watch closely to avoid burning the bottom.

Remove from heat and stir in cheese, serve immediately.
