4 lb or larger chuck roast
1 pkg ranch dressing mix
1 pkg au jus gravy mix
1 stick butter
16 Oz jar pepperoncini peppers

Directions:
Directions:
Place the chuck roast in the bottom of your crock pot.
Sprinkle the ranch and au jus mixes over the top of the roast.

Add the butter and 1/2 the pepperoncini peppers with half of the brine.
Slow cook on low heat for 10 hours or more (best results) or on high 5-6 hours.

It cooks up very juicy, so it’s excellent served with mashed potatoes or rice. Also makes excellent sandwiches.
