5 lb Pork Shoulder
8 T. Butter
½ cup Brown Sugar, packed
6 cloves Garlic, minced
¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
¼ cup Soy Sauce
¼ tsp Salt or to taste
½ tsp Ground Pepper
2 T. Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 425 F. degrees.

2. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add garlic and saute for approx 30 sec. Add the brown sugar and cook until melts, then add vinegar and soy sauce, bring to a boil and remove from heat.

3. Cut pork shoulder into 6 equal pieces. Season each piece with S & P. Add 1 T. olive oil to large Dutch oven and heat over med. high heat. Add 3 pieces at a time and sear for 3 minutes per side. Repeat with remaining pieces.

4. After searing, place all pieces in Dutch oven. Pour sauce over pork and cover pot with lid or foil and cook for 1 hour. Remove cover and spoon sauce over meat. Turn heat to 375 F degrees and return to the oven and cook for another 30 minutes.

5. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes, then transfer meat to a baking sheet and shred it with a couple forks.

6. Serve on buns with sauce.
