1 1/2 lbs Round Steak, 1" thick
4tbs Flour
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Pepper
2 T Fat
3 c Onions, sliced
1 c Water, hot

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, salt, pepper. Sprinkle steak with half flour mixture, and pound meat throughly on that side then flip and repeat with remaining flour mixture. Heat fat in heavy skillet add onions and cook till lightly browned, put to one side and add meat. Brown steak well on both sides. Then place onions on top of meat, add water and cover. Simmer 1 3/4 to 2 hours or until meat is tender. Garnish with parsley or green pepper rings.
