Directions:
Soak dried fruit in water for several hours or overnight. Add sugar and cook until tender. Remove from heat. Make a thin white sauce with remaining ingredients. Allow to cook over hot water until taste of raw starch disappears. Remove from heat and combine with the cooked fruit. If moos is too thick it can be thinned down with rich milk or thin cream. Other fruits such as canned cherries, apricots or gooseberries may be used in place of dried fruit. Should be cooled before serving.
