3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter, (room temperature or slightly softened)
4 eggs
2 cups applesauce*
2/3 cup milk
Vanilla (be generous)
4 cups flour
2 cups chopped pecans
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Measure flour, baking soda and salt and a few shakes of cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.

Chop pecans. Save a few whole for decoration on top of the loaves.

Combine softened butter and sugar, til smooth.
Add eggs, applesauce, milk and vanilla.

Begin to add in flour. Begin to incorporate the milk as it gets thick. Once the flour is all combined add in the nuts.

Pour into greased loaf pans. This will make 4 small loaves or 2 large.

For decoration place a few whole pecans on top, add a sprinkle of sugar and a bit of cinnamon
Bake at 350 degrees
Small loaves will take 40 min and large will take 50 min

* I make my own applesauce and it can be chunky for this recipe.

Also, I have added raisins or craisins to this recipe.
