⅔ cup syrup
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
½ cup cream (sour)
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
4 tsp baking soda
6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Add syrup, mix. Add sour cream and vanilla. Add 3 cups flour and baking soda, mix. Add 2 cups flour, mix again. Add rest of flour. Makes stiff dough, chill at least 2 hours. Best chilled over night. Roll out dough on floured surface. Cut out and bake at 350ºF for 7 minutes or till golden.
