2 lbs - 2.5 lbs. ground beef 80% lean ( add flavor)
4 12 oz.. cans of light red kidney beans
1 12 oz. can white beans
1 12 oz. can of diced tomatoes
1 1/2 cup of mild Mexican salsa
2 12 oz. cans water
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon celery salt
salt and pepper (as needed)

Directions:

Brown the beef in skillet in one tablespoon oil until stirred fine and all meat brown.
Add cumin, garlic, celery and desired salt and pepper. In a 6 quart crock pot (slow cooker) add meat mixture, beans, tomatoes, salsa and water. Stir mixture and cook on high until near boiling then lower to low heat and stir often. The chili takes several hours and will be ready to serve hot,or cool and store in refrigerator or freeze. Chili sets up and is better and smoother the next day.
