1 c water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup white Karo syrup
1-2 tsp vanilla
1 T. maple flavoring (Mapleine)

Directions:
Directions:
Add all ingredients except flavorings to a medium size deep saucepan. Heat on low until sugars are dissolved. Then bring to a boil. Stir and turn down heat and cook about 3-5 minutes. Take off heat and add flavorings. (May add a big pat of butter if desired.) Cool and pour into a covered jar or container. Keep in fridge.

NOTE: Do not boil a long time as it will get like hard candy- it will thicken as it cools.
