Cake batter:

1 pkg. white cake mix (do not follow directions on box)
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. whiskey
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. flour (mix walnuts with 1 tsp. flour before adding to mix)

Glaze:

1/4 lb. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. whiskey

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350º.

Cake Mix:

1. Grease and flour a Bundt cake pan.

2. Mix together well the cake mix, pudding and eggs. Add milk, oil and whiskey. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add walnuts.

3. Pour into prepared cake pan. Cook for 50 minutes or until toothpick, inserted into cake, comes out clean. Remove cake from oven and immediately pour glaze over hot cake. (Leave cake in pan.)

Glaze:

1. Put all ingredients into saucepan and heat until sugar and butter have melted into the whiskey. Immediately pour over cake.

2. Let it all soak into cake for 2 hours before moving cake from Bundt pan. Remove cake from Bundt pan and wrap tightly with foil and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Note: If you lave cake wrapped tlghtly in refrigerator, it will stay moist for days.
