4 ounces bacon, diced
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (16-ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 (21-ounce) can pork and beans
1 (15-ounce) can butter beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon salt

In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove to paper towels to drain. Discard drippings. In the same skillet, cook beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain fat. Combine ground beef and bacon with all remaining ingredients. Spoon into a 2-qt. casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 300° for 1 hour or until the beans are as thick as desired. Recipe can be easily doubled for a larger group.
