1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. finely chopped onion, sauteed
1 egg
¼ c. water
⅓ c. ketchup
½ c. old-fashioned oatmeal
1 ½ lb. ground turkey (Turkey Store Jennie-0 extra lean)
¾ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

½ c. ketchup on top of the meatloaf

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spray loaf pan with PAM.

Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a small fry pan. Sauté onion in oil until tender. Set aside.

In a large bowl, mix the egg, water, and ketchup.
Add the oatmeal, ground turkey, salt, pepper, sauteed onion and mix well.
Place meat mixture in a loaf pan.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

Remove foil. Pour out excess liquid/fat.
Spread ½ c ketchup on top of the meatloaf.

Continue baking uncovered for 15 more minutes or until the center of the meatloaf reaches 165°F.

Take the meatloaf pan out of the oven.

Let it sit for 15 minutes before serving.
