1/4 c oil
1/4 c lime juice
2 cloves garlic minced
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 lb flank steak
3 medium peppers quartered (red, yellow and orange)
1 red onion peeled and cut into 6 wedges
1 avocado pited, peeled and sliced
Cilantro, sour cream and lime wedges

Rinse and slice cucumbers. Place in a large bowl. Salt, chill and drain cucumbers.
Add the sliced onions and all of the pickling salt. Stir so salt is well distributed. Cover with a clean thin tea towel. Cover with a couple of inches of ice. Put in refrigerator and let chill for 4 hours. Discard ice. Rinse cucumbers and onions thoroughly and drain. Rinse and drain again.

In a large bowl, whisk together oil, lime juice, garlic, chili powder and Worcestershire. Add steak, peppers and onion, turn to coat in mixture. Cover and chll for at least 2 hours. Prepare grill. Grill peppers, and onion flipping once until tender, 4-5 minutes per side. Grill steak, flipping once, 4-5 minutes per side. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut peppers into 1/2" thick strips. Arrange steak, peppers, onion and avocado on platter. Garnish with cilantro. Serve with sour cream and lime wedges.
