½cup shortening
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
1½ cup flour
¾ tsp soda
½ tsp salt
¼ cup molasses
½ cup nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, egg and molasses (beat on high 4 min.)
In a separate bowl combine salt, soda and flour.
Add to creamed mixture and mix well.

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake 10-12 minutes in a 375° oven.
