1 1/2 c cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
1 c buttermilk at room temperature
1 stick butter at room temperature
2 c sugar
1 c vegetable oil
4 eggs room temperature
1 1/2 Tbsp vanilla
1 tsp vinegar
2 oz red food coloring

16 oz room temperature cream cheese
1 stick butter room temperature
3 c confectioners sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 Tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream

Preheat oven to 350º. Line pans with parchment paper. Whisk together flour, cake flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder and set aside. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar together for at least two minutes. Add oil, eggs and vanilla until combined. Mix the vinegar and food coloring. With the mixer on low, pour 1/3 of buttermilk and flour alternately until combined. Divide batter between pans . Bake 30-35 minutes. Let cool in pan 10 minutes before removing.

For frosting beat together butter, cream cheese and vanilla. Until combined. Slowly add confectioners sugar until you have added 4 cups. Mix in whipping cream. Beat for a full 4 minutes.
