1 1/2 sticks butter at room temperature
1/2 c light brown sugar packed
2 c fresh peach slices
3/4 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 c self rising flour
1/2 c milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Place 1/2 stick butter into 8" round cake pan and place in oven to melt butter. When butter is melted, remove from oven and sprinkle with brown sugar to coat bottom of pan. Arrange peach slices over the sugar layer.
In a bowl, cream sugar with stick of butter.
Add egg and vanilla extract mix to combine. Add the flour and mix to combine. Add milk and mix to combine with flour. Spoon evenly over peaches. Bake 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes then invert onto cake platter.
