12 ounces egg noodles
1 1/2 pounds top sirloin or stew meat (cubed)
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 small yellow onion, cut into half moons
8 ounces mushrooms cut into slices (4 cups)
1 1/2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
4 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or chives

Directions:

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook noodles according to package directions. Drain & set aside

In a large bowl, combine the beef, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, garlic powder and 2 tablespoons flour. Toss to coat

In a large skillet, heat tablespoons butter and oil. Add beef and sear on all sides until brown, approx 7-8 minutes. Remove the meat to a bowl. Set aside

Add the onion, mushrooms & remaining 2 tablespoons butter to the pan with the drippings and sauté until browned. Sprinkle the remaining 1 tablespoon flour and stir to coat well. Add broth and cream and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, add meat and cook until the sauce is thickened, about five minutes

Put in Oven (350) or crock pot for a few hours until tender.

Uncover the skillet and add cream cheese, sour cream and Worcestershire. Stir and season with salt and pepper to taste. top with parsley or chives

Serve with noodles
