Per Grandma Messaros...“Boil Easter Eggs in onion skins to obtain pretty brown eggs.” Take out of water at different times to get different shades.”
(Go to market and pick up extra onion skins that have peeled off eggs.) Grandma Messaros said this was from her 1957 recipe from Grandma Brown.
-Fill large pot with water. Layer white eggs and onion skins. Boil for ~20 minutes or until desired color.
