5 onions
3/4 c. parsley (fresh)
2 c. carrots, shredded
3/4 c. fresh dill
3 c. cooked rice
2 lb. raw hamburger
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
salt & pepper

2 heads of fresh cabbage

2 c. water
2 c. tomato juice
1 T. salt
1 T. saramale seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onions, parsley, carrots, & dill in oil. Mix rice, hamburger, salt & 1 1/2 c. tomato juice, then add the cooked vegetable mix to it. Boil the cabbage leaves in a pot of water & 1 T. salt & 2 T. vinegar.
Make the cabbage rolls, place in a baking dish with extra leaves of cabbage on top and bottom, for extra moisture. Boil together the water, tomato juice, salt, and saramale seasoning, then pour over the saramale. Bake at 250' for 3 hours.
