1 quart (2 pints) stock or water
1 small white cabbage
2 cooking apples
1 onion
Juice of 1 lemon
1 large tin tomatoes
2 ozs sultanas
Sugar to taste

Directions:
Directions:




Discard outer leaves of cabbage and shred.

Finely, peel and grate apples and onions and put in saucepan with cabbage.

Add water or stock, tomatoes, sultanas,lemon juice and sugar and simmer for 40 minutes. Drain before serving.

If you don't drain it, you can use it as cabbage soup.
