1 1/2 Cups Shortening
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
3 Eggs
4 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Salt
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, salt, soda, and add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Chill.

Shape into 6 long rolls about 1 1/2 - 2" diameter.

Slice and bake at 350º for 10-15 minutes.
