12 large peeled cukes, remove seeds (grind)
6 large onions (grind)
1/2 cup pickling salt
Let set overnight

Drain well in the morning, and add the following.

6 cups sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. mustard seed
1 bunch celery (chopped)
1 green pepper (chopped)

Put everything in a pan, bring to a boil, and boil for 15 min. Seal in jars. Process for 10 minutes in a hot water bath!

When Mom and her sister, Marguerite, made this, they had to grind it outside because the cukes were full of so much water. They used the old meat grinder.
