1 C. steamed rice
1 C. scalded milk
½ tsp. butter
3-4 TBSP sugar
½ tsp. salt
¼ C. seeded raisins
1 slightly beaten egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and salt with egg. Melt butter in hot milk. Add milk mixture to egg mixture. Add rice & raisins to above. Pour into oiled baking dish. Set dish in pan of hot water. Bake in moderate oven until custard is firm.
