6 eggs, extra large
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
2 cups cake meal
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons potato starch
5-6 Apples sliced-sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar

Topping
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 cups crushed nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat to 350º.
Beat eggs with sugar, add oil.
Mix in cake meal, salt, and potato starch. Mix well, batter will be thick. Grease 13 x 9 pan and place half of batter in pan. Layer apples over batter.
Mix topping together and sprinkle over apples, spoon remaining batter into pan and then remainder topping on top with crushed nuts.

Bake for 1 hour.
