6 large potatoes
1 egg
Nutmeg
Flour
Salt
Blue Italian Plums
Sugar, cinnamon as desired

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes in salted water until done. Drain. Mash potatoes well. When slightly cool, add nutmeg and enough flour to make the dough firm. Then split and pit the plums. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Take a piece of the dough and form a patty in the hand. Put plum in the center, add a tsp. of sugar mixture in center of plum. Roll into a ball and put into a kettle of boiling water. Boil for 10 minutes. Take from water gently and put in a large dish. Pour browned butter over the top and serve. The sugar mixture may be added over the top if desired.
